Working with Youth
Zemen Print

Zemen is a member of the International Youth Leadership Council

My name is Zemen and I am a junior at the University of Maryland College Park. I am a public and community health/pre-medicine major. I was born and raised in Columbia, Maryland. Originally from Ethiopia, I live a fractured life: fractured between two realities — Third World and First. I am deeply passionate about improving health on an international level for all of humanity.

I have joined the Advocates for Youth International Youth Leadership Council in hopes of educating policy makers and the general public on issues such as global HIV/AIDS and international family planning, to ensure the progression of health for international communities toward long-past-due change.
