Daniel is an online peer educator with YouthResource.  Hey! My name is Daniel. I am a 22 year old college graduate. I am originally from Rochester, NY. After graduating high school I relocated to South Carolina for college and a new setting. Moving from a moderate city of two hundred thousand to a town of four thousand was shocking!
I am a huge activist on HIV/AIDS prevention education. My freshman year while at college, I met a student who was positive. After an intimate conversation with him about his daily interactions with closed minded persons, it made me want to help others in his situation by spreading knowledge about the virus - especially since many are misinformed, underinformed, or believe myths about HIV and AIDS.
I am currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Nursing. I am happy I found an opportunity to use my knowledge, experience and training to help anyone!
